The Pink Camo Truck Blog
So you may be wondering, you’re a food truck, why a food blog? That's the best reason!
It's been a crazy adventure getting into the Pink Camo truck. People think the journey is romantic, well it is, but it’s also a LOT of work! Food trucks travel and go to very cool festivals, so I get to share my food across the country. I thought it would be fun to share the adventures of this unconventional army wife, chef, and food truck owner!
This week I am taking a road trip halfway across the country. I got an email a couple weeks ago, inviting me to compete in The Feeders Cup! What is the Feeders Cup? It is a competition between 20 trucks to win a coveted spot in the week long festivities of The Breeders Cup, which is the World Cup of horse racing!
I called up a couple good friends, empty nesters, with time on their hands to take a couple weeks off, make the trip, and help me get into the festival! So were off to the races! Driving from Fort Drum New York, to Lexington Kentucky! I hope I win a spot because it would be very humbling to blog about it and then have to tell you I didn't! But you don't get anywhere by not trying!
Wish me luck! Well, maybe we don’t need luck, because after all, we have the best “butts” in town!
